Performing

I’m a singer, performer, frontwoman, backingvocalist, violist and occasional keyoarder - I feel at ease to be the center of attention but feel also comforable to be a supporting side-woman.

Standing on a stage and feeling the connection between me as a performer and the audience is a deeply important part of my life.

Recording

I’ve recorded hundreds of hours in studios and in my own home recording environment - vocals as well as violin, viola and other instruments. I know what I can do and what I cannot do in a studio. Finding that sweet spot between those parameters to capture music in an honest and moving form keeps me excited about recording music.

Songwriting & producing

I’ve written songs for more than 20 years. It is my preferred form of telling stories. I find it magical when a song has a beautiful and/or unexpected flow. And I’m endlessly amazed by the elements and textures of songs and sounds. I see songwriting and producing as a craft - a creative one.
